Happy Tamil New Year

இனிய புத்தாண்டு நல்வாழ்த்துகள் . To all Tamilar all over the world, I would like to wish you all a Happy Tamil New Year. Wishing all of you plenty of happiness, wealth, wisdom and good health.

It has been 5114 since we built our civilisation, so let us maintain our true culture and good habits thought by our ancestors and always be an example to other races. And don't forget our brothers and sister who are fighting for their freedom, let us pray for them and their freedom.

    Have you heard the song Semmozhi by A R Rahman? It is worth listening. It is based on Tamizh as a language - a Semmozhi language (very few languages enjoy that priviledge!)

    Happy New Year to you too. :) Yes I've heard of this song million times.... and love it every time I hear it. :) Never miss any of A R rahman music.... u must be a fan of him? u must feel proud to have born in india....where most genius are born ;)

    Ya, I am a die-hard fan of A R Rahman and his music. I have a dream of singing for A R Rahman and meeting him. :)
    I am really proud to have been born in a country so rich in culture. Aren't you too an Indian? or you're the one of those Hindu people who used to live in Java and Sumatra? ( I read of this in my junior classes!)

    I'm Indian, but I am born in Malaysia. My great grandparents were brought here by the British. Some of them stayed here and some went back to India. Some still have relations there but ours lost contact so we don't know where they are. But we never forget our culture. ;)

    The Hindus that u refer to are the ones who came here long before the british came (During the Chola Empire). There are still the remains of their ruins in the northern part of Malaysia. But more in Indonesia (Sumatra & Java)I guess, but I have never been to Indonesia. :)
